Reinhard Traub

Reinhard Traub is a graphic and lighting designer who has, since the early 1980s, worked on numerous dance productions, musicals, and operas. He has created the lighting design for opera houses in Brussels, Hamburg, Munich, Strasbourg, Berlin, Amsterdam, Gothenburg, Copenhagen, Tokyo, Graz, Verona, and Zurich, as well as for productions at the Salzburg Festival. Traub has worked for many years at the Stuttgarter Staatsoper, where his most recent productions include Verdi's Otello and Puccini's Madama Butterfly. He collaborated with Christian Becker on his ballets Lulu: A Monster Tragedy in 2003, and The Sandman in 2006. Traub has taught lighting design at the Stuttgart Academy of Visual Arts since 2001. |
